The Artist Review by Erik Wallin
I am giving The Artist 4.5 stars.
I thought The Artist was quite an enjoyable film. It was a nice break from the overly spectacular films that are coming out today. The Artist is a love story with comedic and dramatic elements throughout. It is an homage to the early silent films that came out in the early 20th century. It was a very well paced out film that told the story of the film industry moving into talkies from silent films. The entire movie is an anecdote for the film industry as a whole and how it can drive some people to nearly killing themselves.
