George Ilutsik_Jules and Jim

Title/Year: Jules and Jim 1962
Director/Birth Country/Year Born: Francois Truffaut/France/1932
Budget: not officially confirmed
Gross: £25,589
Synopsis: love triangle.  Unknowing passion.  Happiness in a wisp of air.
Narrative and Visual Keywords:  Third/first person.  Love, passion, affair, trust, lust, friends,
Characterization/ Dialogue: The characters arc is from joy to sorrow.  It feels as if their life's started when they all met each other.  Catherine loves them both and switches between the two of them constantly.
Camera/lighting/editing technique:  Every shot was moving, as if we where alive with them.  It looked like it was mostly practical lighting, except when they where inside.  No hard edges, no unique style.  Editing was simple, and to the point.
Political/ Social Commentary: They did get separated from the "Great War".  There was some indication of "what a woman wants, and or deserves."  It seemed as if it was common that a woman had a husband and a lover.  The French are freaking weird.
Historical Relevance/ Recognition: Again WWI.  France seem to revolve around love and marriage.
Notable Collaboration: His Dp was notable.
Random fact, Etc.:  Jeanne Moreau had to jump into the river her self, because her stunt double showed up drunk.  She then spent the next 2 days ill in bed.
